Amy Haywood is a two time Parent Choice Award Winner for children's music and story recordings, and has been educating through music for thirty years. She is the founder of Music Kids, a preschool music program, (formerly Musicare), trains music teachers, offers Amy’s Music Zoom classes and writes children’s songs and stories. In the summer she runs a children's music camp: Camp Oonie Koonie Cha. Amy’s Music on Zoom aims to educate kids thru music while having a hand-clapping, toe tapping, giggling, good time.
Amy grew up in Viet Nam, Taiwan and Singapore where she developed a love for children, service and song.

During this uncertain time with social distancing and closed schools, I do not want the kids to go without music. Music not only engages the mind and soul, but it encourages the spirit to dance! Through live zoom classes and videos, I try to reach out to my young friends and occupy them for a rich half hour with songs, musical activities, puppets, instruments and movement. I send home coloring sheets or suggest art themes, and we show and tell before class each morning.

There is a daily rate of $10.25 for a barrel of songs, finger plays, stories and great musical activities. If you have never tried class before, give it a try.

Camp Oonie Koonie Cha
Oonie Koonie Cha is an action-packed music camp that integrates music with drama, storytelling, a xylophone orchestra, science, and movement. Music will transport the children around the world. Our young travelers will return home with their own handmade instruments to play along with their complimentary CD. Wonderful songs from the Wild West will keep your family jammin’ all year long.
